Meet Anna

Bonjour à tous!

I’m Anna Westerholm, one of the pastel girls! I figured I’d introduce myself since not everyone knows my story!

I’m originally from the cold and icy Finland but I moved to Copenhagen when I was 16 when I got invited to start as an apprentice with the Royal Danish Ballet after I’d taken their summer program. I had to learn the language super fast since I was put in a danish high school with the rest of the apprentices and that was also a good way to integrate to the danish way of living. So yes, I sometimes forget I’m not danish, haha. After a few years as an apprentice and finishing high school I got a contract with the company. Right now I’m on my 3rd season!

From a super young age I have always been very interested in fashion and clothes and expressing myself through them (a part from those few years in high school where I was trying to fit in with the black/grey/navy palette). I have also always been a huge fan of vintage/thrift shopping because that allows me to find some unique pieces for less money. And lately that has become like a side hustle for both me and Bene. We are also going to upload more vintage items on the platform soon so stay tuned!!

I’m in an artistic environment so it allows me to feel more free and confident in expressing myself through my clothes. I’m not afraid to wear colours and mix patterns and that’s also how my best friends and I have gotten the label - pastelpigerne (pastel girls).
