Bonjour,
Maybe you saw that we already posted the DIY for the swirl candles on our Instagram. I thought it would be accurate to now post it here too as it's December and this is a great idea for an affordable and thoughtful Christmas present for your family, friends or colleagues. Not to mention easy! You need to make sure to use paraffin candles because stearin ones will just melt. Here's a step by step guide for you but don't hesitate to write us on Instagram if you have any questions and make sure to tag us to show your results!

1. As the first step you need to let the candles soak in hot water(not boiling) for about 10-20 min. You will notice once they are ready and bendable.

2. The second step is to take the candle out from the water and make it flat in the parts where you'd like to bend it. You can either use your hands like I did or use some tool like a wine bottle for example. After that you shape your candles as you wish.

3. The last step would be to put the candles into cold water to stiffen but I skipped this part and put them by a open window and it worked perfectly.
Don't worry if all of your candles aren't perfect. All of mine were imperfect but they are very pretty when they burn and has a certain charm. Have fun with this project!
Bisous!
