CPHFW happened last week but unfortunately, we weren’t able to be in the city. Anna is home in Finland and I am in Paris but thanks to the internet I don’t think we missed much. It was interesting to see how each brand decided to present their new collection due to covid-19 and we both have fallen in love with the Stine Goya campaign video and Helmstedt’s presentation.
Stine Goya did the coolest campaign video with a group of artists in the most stunning pastel surroundings. The music, choreography, set design, art direction and obviously the collection is so well done and the vibe is very #houseofgoya. The video is a celebration of the everyday moments of their team and network. #stinegoya SPRING/SUMMER 21 is definitely added to our “if only I had won the lottery” wish list.
Helmstedt did an open presentation (catwalk) of her “EMOTIONS” collection right in front of our old “home”. The big square in front of The Royal Danish Ballet was turned into a Helmstedt universe with live DJing, Emilie’s signature homemade sculptures and her newest collection. Everything looked quite stunning. She manage to surprise us every time & I think this is my favourite collection so far. Her collection involves lots of pastel designs (just the way we like it!) and as always, with her hand painted detailed prints she created such a unique summer collection. She was inspired by human emotions and their complex feelings using symbols such as hearts, carrier pigeons & letters. Creating a storyline throughout her collection is very inspiring & we can’t wait to see what she creates next! For now, we will starve ourselves so we can afford one of her designs…
